I'm a father of four who's coached soccer, basketball, running, t-ball, and softball. I built JoyRoster because I was tired of constantly asking "Who's coming today?" and begging parents to download yet another app.
JoyRoster keeps things simple:
No hidden fees, no upsells — we just want your feedback.
We'll create your roster, schedule, and initial events so you can start fast.
Parents reply faster with text. No app required.
Need help? You get a direct line to me so nothing slows you down.
Be the first to try improvements as they roll out.
We're building JoyRoster with coaches, not just for them.

I've coached all my kids across soccer, basketball, running, t-ball, and softball. Over the years I tried Remind, TeamSnap, and several others — but I never liked forcing parents to download an app. And honestly, many of these apps have gotten worse over time.
As a coach, the one thing I need to know before I plan anything is:
"Who do I have coming tonight?"
For rec and semi-travel teams, numbers change constantly. If I know the headcount, I can adjust my drills, rotations, and game plan. But managing RSVPs through group chats, spreadsheets, and reminders took way too much time.
JoyRoster fixes that.
With fast RSVPs, simple scheduling, and the ability to notify parents, grandparents, or anyone else — all without an app — everything stays in sync and the chaos goes away.
Right now I'm focusing on teams in Northwest Ohio. My kids attend Lake Schools in Millbury, and I've coached throughout this community's rec leagues. I'm also inviting coaches throughout Northwest Ohio to join the beta.
If that's you — I'd love to help your team try JoyRoster.
